Meet the Author

Hybrie Jenae is a self published, Afro-feminist author.  She received a BA in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University and a MSW, Mental Health Concentration and Social Entrepreneurship Specialization from Washington University. Hybrie Jenae was born in St. Louis, MO where she currently resides and is a Licensed Master Social Worker.

 

"The Life & Times of an HBCU Drama Queen" is the first published book by the author, which includes a collection of short stories that chronicle the lives of students at Heritage Wells, a fictional historically black college. Hybrie plans to continue to use her platform as a fiction author to educate about social issues, particularly those faced by girls and women of color.
